Sara Franzello

Hello, love. I’m Sara — founder of Studio 356, stylist, mentor, and someone who still genuinely loves this industry 25 years later.

I didn’t set out to build a team or even a “brand.” I created Studio 356 because I wanted to work in a space that felt calm, intentional, and elevated. A place where women were truly cared for and the experience mattered just as much as the hair. What started as a simple vision has grown into something far greater than I ever expected and I’m both humbled and grateful for that.

This industry has been so good to me. It’s allowed me to build a beautiful life, to serve women in meaningful ways, and to grow in seasons I never saw coming. As the salon has grown, I have too. While I still love being behind the chair (and always will), leadership and mentorship have become a deeper focus for me. Helping stylists discover their artistry, build confidence, and create balanced success lights me up.

As I’ve gotten older (did I say that out loud?), I’ve developed a deep appreciation for time. Time at home. Time with the people I love. Time not rushing. That perspective shapes how I approach hair now. I care deeply about creating hair that fits into your real life. Styles and color that are beautiful but also practical, sustainable, and aligned with the season you’re in.

When I’m behind the chair, grey coverage, blending, and seamless transitions are my favorite. There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping women feel confident in every stage of life, and… I love cutting, give me scissors and I’m happy. I’m always honest about goals and realistic timelines, and map out a thoughtful three-visit journey to keep us aligned as your needs shift. Consistent, beautiful hair that works for you — that’s my thing.

Outside the salon, home is my favorite place. It’s where I recharge with my husband, a stack of books, and my cat curled up nearby. I love crafting, baking, and my bees. Sundays are for church and rest, whether that means a lazy afternoon, a walk in nature, or relaxing at a local winery.

Whether you’re sitting in my chair or considering joining our team, my heart is the same: to build something intentional, rooted in care and excellence, where women feel valued and stylists can grow into careers they’re proud of.

You’ll see me behind the chair:

Every Tuesday 2-8 and Wednesday 10-6

Every other Thursday 12-7 and Saturday 9-3
